I have the best grandpa ever!

So, at 11, our electricity went out and when it does that, there’s this thing in our house that makes like a siren noise when it’s trying to turn back on. And, I, being afraid of the dark, had a real hard time with this…every time it would make the noise, I’d jump up from whatever stage of sleep I was in, heart pounding, and sweating profusely. Finally, at 3, I couldn’t take it anymore. I got up, nearly in tears, and went to my grandpa’s room to tell him I was scared. He went in the living room with me, said a prayer, then told me to lay on the couch. I did and he sat in the recliner. He fell back asleep instantly and I ended up going to sleep too. For two hours, he stayed in the living room with me. Then, the lights came back on for good. I thanked him and told him I appreciated it and he said, “No problem, mija. I love you. You have an hour before you have to get ready for school, go back to sleep.” and he went back to his room.

I feel so blessed to have such a loving grandfather.

No, I’m talking mainly about Marvel’s…

Could it be because of the woman’s rights movement? Could that have caused the writers to feel compelled to create a female counterpart for the males? Because, that would make sense especially with the added on abilities. Just a thought.
